Cards Messages For New Baby Twins
Ruben Omar Sosa Maximiliana heard the lesson in a course of intensive care in Buenos Aires. It was the most important thing he learned in his student years. A teacher was the case. Doña Maximiliana, very tired by the comings and goings of a long life without Sundays, had a few days in the hospital, and every day asking the same thing:
"Please, doctor, could you take my pulse?
A gentle finger pressure on the wrist, and he said, "Okay
. Seventy-eight. Perfect.
"Yes, doctor, thanks. Now please, can I take your pulse?
And he returned to take it, and returned to explain that everything was fine, could not be better.
Day after day, the scene was repeated. Every time he passed through the bed of Dona Maximiliana, that voice, that snoring called him and offered him that arm, the stick, once and again and again.
He obeyed, because a good doctor should be patient with his patients, but I thought: This is an old lead. And I thought: I have a screw loose.
took years to realize she was asking someone to touch.
